About the Workshop
Atmanandam meditation workshops offer tools and techniques to enable personal inner transformation, enhance self-awareness, and help balance and harmonize body, mind and spirit.
Meditation
Meditation is just being. It is being awake to the present moment fully, without resistance. In prayer, we talk to God but in meditation we listen to the soundless voice of God within us. In prayer, we commune with the Divine but in meditation we achieve union with it. Through a consistent meditation practice, we enable ourselves to develop subtler qualities of the inner Divine.

Workshop Sessions*
Workshops are offered in 4 one-hour sessions. Participants may drop in at any time after attending an initial workshop
Each 1-hour session includes directed breathing techniques, mild yoga postures, simple chanting, guided visual relaxation, and meditation. Stillness and Silence are strongly focused upon entering the practice space. Please keep a journal/notebook with you during practice to write down whatever comes up before, during and after practice. These notes will help serve as a review of your own personal development as you continue and sustain your practice over time. It is recommended that you maintain the inner silence and stillness from your practice after you leave the practice space.
